Last week The Gaming Club(MG) advertised a 15% on all deposits promotion. The bonus was supposed to be credited last friday.
I felt like this would be a good chance to get some extra money to play with while I tried to get a 20K Royal flush, so I deposited quite a bit of money. I wagered A Lot of money on VP then played some high stakes blackjack I even played some slots. I followed all the terms and conditions of this offer. I wagered many multiples more than the terms and conditions stated. I did not get my 15% bonus. I got a BS email claiming I was on an abuser "list", and would not get this or any other promotions. I was not on any lists. They lied and claimed I was on a "list", but not 3 hours earlier I had recieved a promotion for playing their mystery slot game. Apparently I was not on any list then, but magically 3 hours later I was on a no promotions "list". The gaming club made up lies about me being on an abuser list just to get out of paying me a bonus that I earned. If they lie about this, then they will probably lie about anything. So don't be surprised if they have to void out your future big win because you were on some sort of imaginary "list" Given the very very close ties(alleged ownership) between Microgaming and The Gaming Club, I see this as a Microgaming approved way to screw customers, so don't be surprised if all microgaming casinos start to cheat customers this way. |

Hi Sav
good to see your post. now I see I am not the only one. I have story very much alike like you, maybe even worse. before I made the deposit with the 15% bonus, I was a respectable member in the gamming club group, I got nice promotions just for me, played some, not a lot, but I was giving some money to the casino. there were times I played just for the fun of it, without the use of any bonus. the story you just post happen to me!! I got this email: Dear XXX, The Gaming Club Group of Casinos subscribes to and makes use of Industry wide databases of known promotional and/or transactional abuse. Your account with us has been flagged as such and therefore we regret to inform you that no further promotions / bonuses will be granted to you by any Gaming Club Group Casino. You are welcome to continue gaming with us. Kind regards Brad Wright Casino Manager this is the first time in my couple of years games in online and offline casinos, that I have been told that. I like to play, I put large deposits and played a lot, with or without bonus. Gaming club WAS one of the best casino grou online (NO MORE). I believe someone there made a mistake and gave no limit on the promotion. but "hey...", someone wake up, "we need to give a lot of promotion money now, what will we do?" so, what they have done was tell the players that "they" (the players) are the problem, they want the bonus, god forbit, so, they must be bonus abusers. after I read this post, I am now sure, we are not the only victims. I am sure there are a lot there that dont know what to do. please come to this forum and complain. show them this is not a joke. to tell a gamer he is an abuser this is insulting. why do online casinos they give bonuses? so players will come to thier casino instead of one of the others that click away, so what is this all about? I thought before what can I do to get me out of this shame list, and get the promo money (which they promised), and then I see this post. gaming club - this is a very bad for your lost reputation. I hope player will read this and see that the master had gone ;-( |

This is garbage. As far as we are concerned, the casinos need to start informing people that they are "flagged" as bonus abusers BEFORE they accept the player's deposit.
That way, people will at least have an opportunity to defend themselves when they show up on a "list" (as I am sure some have been flagged inaccurately) as well as know ahead of time that they will not qualify for a bonus (despite the fact they were solicited by a casino or one of its affiliates.) I don't suppose they have offered to refund your losses (since technically you were not eligible to participate in the promotion.) Anyway, we can't promise that we can get this resolved for you, but we can promise to penalize Gaming Club if they refuse to work with us. At the very least, we can try to stop this from happening to other players. Feel free to contact us and we will do what we can. ------------------ Joe Plummer www.fairbet.org |

Same deal for me. Luckily I hadn't wagered prior to getting that email so the bait and switch didn't cost me anything.

They pulled the same scam on me also. Didn't even deposit an amount I considered really "large" but it was my biggest deposit at Gaming Club.
I had like the rest received an email asking me to take part in their 15% bonus. I deposited and played a little throughout the week. They certainly felt fine about holding my money until after the promo period before deciding to make up this imaginery list of promotion/transaction abusers and informing me they weren't going to honor the promotion they solicited. For the record I have never ever had a problem with a MG casino before, never abused and promo or transaction. It is a real shame that one of the first Microgaming casinos has to stoop to this level. Sending out emails promoting a bonus, letting players play off their deposits, then screwing the players out of their promised bonuses is nothing more then a scam. Plain and simply. Maybe Spearmaster, Julie, Jetset and some other well known industry folks could get involved. It is one thing when a shady ass RTG pulls this type of scam, it is another when a respected MG drops to this level. It is a really bad sign. |

I knew it.
When I confronted the gaming club about this, they assured me that I was amongst a very small list of abusers. Now it seems like it isnt so small. I have played at other microgaming casinos, and they have never blinked an eye at my wins or losses. I like to gamble, and the promo just makes it more interesting. It is a shame that the casino industy, including the more reputable Microgaming is now stooping down to the lower levels of respectability. To top this off, I also received a bonus not a day earlier then I was told I could not receive any more bonuses. THEY MADE UP THIS LIST. That is the bottom line. They are just trying to CHEAT their players. TO: The Gaming Club and Microgaming. If you want to have the respect of your customers, honor your promotions and do not pull the bottom-dwelling tricks that we are seeing here. |

I'm shocked beyond belief that TGC would do this-I haven't seen anything really at this level of concern since the VegasUSA nonsense. Is it possible that the real problem lies with Proccyber, which we all know can screw up peoples info because the CS is so inferior.

...At the very least, as stated above, there should be a way to see (prior to depositing funds) if you are eligible. (Maybe enter your account number at the site somewhere to see what your "standing" with the casino is.)
Anything else comes off as (and may very well be) an attempt to defraud players. The casino’s current approach benefits the casino in at least two ways: Assume they offer a $100 bonus for a $100 deposit. This attracts 1000 players who may have otherwise put their money into a reputable competitors site. That equals $100,000 in deposits they would not have had. Then, assume they deny those 1000 players their bonus (based on a “list” that is only revealed AFTER the deposit has been made.) That equals $100,000 in bonuses that they don't have to pay. Simply stated: The current approach Walks, Talks and SMELLS like it. ------------------ Joe Plummer www.fairbet.org |
