Yet another casino using underhand tactics to seize winnings!

My home currency was not available, and I selected GBP as all bonus info is advertised in GBP on the site.
They now returned my deposit and confiscated my winnings.

"The Player acknowledges that in order to be eligible for any promotion or bonus they must be playing with the primary currency used in the country where they have a registered address and are playing from. The casino reserves the right to withhold bonuses resulting from deposits in any currency made in contradiction to this condition. An exception is made for USD and CAD to this clause."

In my interpretation it means, you have to select your home currency and everyone can select USD or CAD.
It doesn't say that if your home currency is not available, you must select USD or CAD.

They keep telling me: "it does clearly state should the primary currency used in your country not be available in our casino you must use USD or CAD" - but in fact this line is not there.

For example in another casino it's clearly there: "Players must play in the currency of the country in which they reside if it is available. If the home currency is not available players must play in US Dollars. Should players not observe this rule their bonuses will be removed." (777dragon casino)

Also, they use double standards, when I played their other casino Spin Palace in pounds, which I checked now has the same term, they were more than happy when I lost my deposit and didn't refund my deposit.

So if you lose, it's lost, and if you win, you get your original deposit back!
Very fair!

Welcome to the forum. Tamas1. It was a mistake to open an account in GBP, it can get you labelled a "bonus abuser". In my opinion it is clear that casino would want you to open an account in USD or CAD, but there is nothing in the conditions you quoted that would justify confiscating your winnings if you play in GBP.

As GM said - the T&C's you put in your post clearly state that you could only open an account in $US or $Can.

Sorry if you did not understand this - maybe English is not your first language?

BTW; Prime is not linked in any way to Spin Palace, or any other casino.

Actually, the T&C only say that the casino may withhold bonuses. If they didn't exercise this right, they have no right to to confiscate winnings later.

Yada yada - you remember the last time this came up, with JIAF, where the casino didn't include winnings, just bonus? I'm still waiting for a response from Microgaming, five months down the line. This was after presenting the facts specifically to them at the ICE in January, and having them positively received.

The manager at Prime is the most arrogant **** I've ever come accros.
If he does not start treating players & respected posters / web hosts with more respect himself he is very quickly going to land his casino in the rogue pit.

No on wants to see that, so let's hope he does the right thing.
