I don't know if anyone would believe some of these stories. They are obviously fake but they are there to try and get visitors to that page. What will ecogra (supposedly there for the player) do about this apparent promotion of irresponsible gambling? |

They are very rich in keywords, that's the obvious purpose. This will be an opportunity for ecogra to show that it means something.

The manipulation of "all slots" and "online casino" into the text shows it's an obvious excercise in SEO.
http://www.ecogra.com/eGAP_Casino.doc The relevant bits: Quote:
All these can of course be fudged: 1) The "spirit of eCOGRA" is vague to the point of absurd. 2) Kahnawake have no such standards. 3) They might claim that these stories are genuine, therefore "factually correct". This'll be an interesting soap opera to watch play itself out. |

The articles are still there at 20:30 BST. Jackpot Factory don't appear to be in a great hurry to remove them.
In this case it is clear that the files were uploaded intentionally, the question is whether the casino management were simply negligent or the articles had their approval which now they deny. Compared to the English Harbour affair, it is harder to believe that nobody noticed the articles that were on all their websites. |

The tide is swinging toward the casinos.
The real rules are simple for these firms. Play the game until caught out, play ignorant, play your own trumpet and play on. govt regulation will actually exacarbate the problem. Your statatutory rights will not be affected. |

Why would they? Every extra hour they're up equals another hour's action from the search engine robots. They'll leave them up as absolutely long as they think they can get away with it. I wonder how eCOGRA will respond to this? |

At 11 pm BST, the story still reads thus:
Quote:
The small alterations were made to confuse the serps, and not intended as a cryptic comment on the situation. |

Hang on. They said they were "removing all the articles" EIGHT hours ago. Yet every one is still there.
![]() ![]() Here's another - check out how they try to link the deposit facility "Instadebit" into all the same marketing bullsh*t - obviously atrociously done: Quote:
Absolutely f**king unreal. Unbelievable. |

Here is another good one that deserves to be saved as a reminder of JF's sleazy marketing:
