View Thread : 3Diamond/49er Eliminate Monthly Match

Apparently effective today 3 Diamond Casino and 49er Casino are eliminating their monthly 100$ match in lieu of a 10% losses back (for entire month). They have graciously signed me up with "Bettorsinsurance.com" who will handle the transactions.

I am assuming this is part of the ownership of these casinos, but do not really know.

Pit boss at 3 Diamonds sent an email stating:
"Effective February 1, 2003, 3 Diamonds Casino has become a participating casino in 'Bettor's Insurance', and automatically enrolled your account, at no cost to you. This means you will get 10% cash back on any money you might lose in the casino.

That's a Win-Win situation, because if you win you get paid, and if Lady Luck is not smiling in your direction, you'll receive 10% back on any losses you incur for the month.

You've been pre-registered, and there's nothing to sign up for and no forms to fill out, just visit http://www.bettorsinsurance.com , enter your email address and active casino account. That's all there is to it!

Good Luck at the Tables,

PS. To offset the OUR cost of Bettor's Insurance Policy for you, we have eliminated the monthly 100% match deposit bonus. Even though the 10% on loss claims will cost us more in the long run, we feel you are worth it."

I also received similar mail from 1 on 1. Looks like I should be expecting another one from the sands later the day. Man we gonna miss 'em.

same here. 1on1 gone.

Apparently all 3 of these are coowned or comanaged. Looks as if Inter, Sands and Williehill will keep the monthly bonus. So byebye

So giving up 10% of the money you have already made is less than paying out 100% match bonuses that you have made no money on yet? Wonder how long their "long run" is, since, seemingly, this will cost them less in the short run.
Seems like the only thing that has changed is they now pay an insurance premium, probably a fixed monthly cost. I would imagine this premium cost is a lot less than whatever the cost of 100% matches are.
Will you "real" gamblers out there continue to play here with no bonuses? Do you like these "loss back" deals? How much do you have to play the 10% back to cash-out or is it yours to keep?
Needless to say, I'd rather lose 10% of the bonus and keep the other 90% :)

I especially liked the subject line of the e-mail:

"Your 49er Casino Bonus has been improved (name removed)"

Pretty funny how your bonus goes down to zero yet that is somehow an "improvement".

Well, real or not, nobody hates bonuses. The best of Crypto is its Multiplayer mode. Yet these casinos seem to be deserted most of the time. So I don't see a point paying them a visit myself. Anybody got a mail from The Sands?

I doubt very much there's any "insurance" involved or payment of premiums, and I don't understand why they are marketing as such. It's a 10% rebate on losses from the casino. Land casinos do it for Whales all the time, especially their Baccarat Whales.

Since the rebate is in the form of chips that must be played and not cashed out, it is less than 10%

The Sands are keeping their match, just like Omni which are also part of the Peak group.

Interesting to see if they too will change next month... They are going to lose alot of players, donīt know about profits though.

Three of the Peak Entertainment casinos are dropping the bonus while the two longer established ones, Sands and Omni, are not.

I think it's a marketing experiment.

1 on 1 isn't providing insurance but "We are changing the direction of the casino to
cater to the serious players who are more interested in top notch service
and some of the fairest odds at any casino the Internet." Top notch service? Limo at the front door to go to the casino . Quicker cash outs from E-cash? I don't think so. Fairest odds? Fairer than other Crypto casinos. Oh, I get it ... marketing hype.
