Hi everybody
Could someone clear up my confusion on this:
- I deposited 50EUR at Maple Casino and got my bonus, played several minutes, lost 10EUR and left . The next day they emailed me asking ID photo, card photo (front/back), phone bill photo. I sent them all that but they answered they wanted visible signature on the back of my debit card (I had blacked that out).
I replied and explained why: when I want to withdraw I will have to send them my bank account data; I don't like them to have my bank account data + my signature.
They politely insisted:
"Please understand that we need certain information to provide you with a positive service. Supplying us with you bank details does not mean we have access to your account. Your bank will not allow us access to your account. Also, we are governed by Ecogra legislation and they closely monitor our actions. The signed copy of the credit card is one of the legislation requirements and your information is stored by our Risk department, which has limited access to this information.
There are other ways of accepting money from us. As a general rule of the casino, when you make a withdrawal, we return the funds back to your credit card against the deposits made. We can also do wire transfers to your account or alternatively send you a check."
- Now I really don't know what to do next. My card is a DEBIT card and I know that I shall have to give them my bank account data in case I win and want to withdraw. I've got PayPal account and MyCitadel but they don't use any of that. In order for me to register with Neteller, I need a credit card and I don't have it.
I played 3 times last year in 2 casinos and they didn't ask me any extra data (I didn't win, of course).
I think some of you have already met this kind of situation, so an advice would come in handy.
Thank you.
