View Thread : New US Player (maybe)

Jake The Snake
I've been looking into online table games for a bit and I'm thinking of getting into the real deal. For now I've been playing on Superior Casino's "Fun Money" deal and I'm comfortable enough with the games to think I know what I'm doing :o Has anyone ever heard of padding these kind of deals to entice folks into playing with real money?

Also, I'm a bit confused about the whole US online gambling policies. I think I can play but only at certain casinos, correct? If so, any suggestions? Bonuses don't matter as I will be playing table games. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to the forum Jake!

Some people think "Fun Money' play is rigged to give you better results & so entice you to deposit. Personally I have not seen any evidence to support that with reputable softwares.

Yes, your options are now severely limited. Just last week the biggest provider of online casinos (Microgaming) pulled all their casinos out of the USA market.
The only major softwares you are left with are Rival (15 casinos, one of which is Superior you already played) and RTG (70-80 casinos but 75% of these are considered to be rogues). Then you have a few minor softwares, some of which are OK, and some are not (I don't know all the details about all of them).

Your biggest problem in the USA is how to get your funds into & out of the casinos as most of your banks & credit card companies will not allow online gaming transactions. The link in my signature will take you to a page on my site where the reputable casinos are listed with their banking options (for most of them). The best one is probably Quick Tender (also called Use My Wallet), though I admit I don't know all the details of how this works. I believe you have to be invited by one of the casinos to join, but this should be no problem.

Good luck.

Thanks for the warm welcome KasinoKing! So pretty much I should stick with Rival, correct? I studied up on the US online casino ordeal a bit, and I've come to this conclusion; The US doesn't want us to go to an online casino and have the casino screw us, but are perfectly fine with paying for a porn website so we can screw ourselves, right? :D

Bah so I try to use UseMyWallet and this is what I get.

Regarding your request for an UseMyWallet invite.
We're sorry but your account does not qualify for an invite at this time.

After certain factors are met you may become eligible for an invite in the future. Until then we can suggest the following options, pre paid credit cards from Netspend (http://www.netspend.com) or creating an account for eWalletXpress (visit http://www.ewalletxpress.com to sign up).

The eWallet Xpress option can also be used for withdrawals.

Thank you for understanding.

Certain factors? Not sure what that means but I guess I'll have to use something else. Any comments on eWalletXpress or Netspend? I have run into problems with even going to GoldenCasino's website. The message "Sorry unavailable to Kentucky Residents" comes up, even though I'm in Ohio. Maybe my ISP originates in Kentucky (which is less than an hour away).

I would stay away from USA casinos. Its very hard for people in america to easily pay and play. Also, there is a risk that your account could be cancelled and lose your money.

I agree with Gonloft. US Casinos are a bit tricky right now, especially with all that is going on with the kentucky domain seizure and mg pulling out (more related to poker).
