Had to chime in for a minute folks, then back to my sabbatical.
I just noticed a cpl of posts on CM in re TopGame software, jetset mentions some previous poster had the address of Winward Hall in Ireland, and Rome casino disavows any connection to the other topgame outfits. May very well be true. But there is a (former) Winward connection to RomeCasino - before you get your rogue hammer out the connector was the best thing that ever happened to Winward.
Following is anecdotal per my gatherings and not to be taken totally at face value, but I believe it to be true and it may be fodder for inquiry.
Jan Strydom was CEO and a tough reformer at Winward, When the changes he tried to make broke down he moved into an advisory role. He represented Rome in some of the early posts and is an actor behind the scenes. It is easy to see the cash out procedure, which sucks, is the same as Winward. Other than that idiocy I know Jan to be topnotch. And as little as my word may mean to some, I see the other known operators as decent and respectable business people. Sure Prime dude did a rogue action with neteller when he was fresh, but it did everyone a favor, eh? You know that neteller is an insecure two-faced, cowering hunk of slime for sure now.
I trust Rome with my deposits (yeah I've been gambling a little, but as long as I stay off the boards I don't obsess) The slots kind of suck... the bonus rounds are usually squat, but good line wins can come in clumps. I haven't cashed out yet but I'm confident there would be no problem.
They are undergoing or in negotiations to undergo testing by tst, the same RNG auditors for RTG.
Another Winward attribute is the automatic bonus BS, but it is clearly stated and they will remove it before you begin wagering.
Deposits are easy, and that's all I'll say about that. And they throw ND loyalty bonuses quite generously.
Before the frickin hyenas decide to slay Rome for a supposed Winward connection, it might do them well to ask someone in private wtf is up. Clarity and transparency do not mean that every freakin joeblow needs to know who works for whom and has, did, or will. It means the the operation is available to scrutiny to those they can trust to scrutinize it. That's my opinion, so quit throwing gas on embers jetset, it is not vewry professional of you when you have the wherewithal to to scrutinize in private and THEN report anything untoward if you find it.
That's my opinion and I'm signing off again.
