Dean Hamrick of East Lansing, Mich., was eliminated in 10th place at 3:25 a.m. Tuesday and the final table was set for the World Series of Poker's main event, the $10,000 buy-in No Limit Texas Hold'em World championship at the Rio.
Nine players qualified for the final table in November and will play for the grand prize of $9.12 million.
The final table will include; Dennis Phillips of St. Louis; Scott Montgomery of Perth, Ontario, Canada; Ivan Demidov of Moscow, Russia; Craig Marquis of Arlington, Texas; Ylon Schwartz of Brooklyn, N.Y.; Peter Eastgate of Denmark; David "Chino" Rheem of Los Angeles; Darus Suharto of Toronto and Kelly Kim of Whitter, Calif.
Hamrick won $591,869 for 10th place.
The final nine beat out a field of 6,844 players.
