I value the ability to receive PMs from individual WOL members on current discussions and things off-topic, but I am wondering about the rules or guidelines on sending impersonalized PMs. I rec'd one from a new member just today. It is not blatant casino spam but it is a little 'gray'.

The basic policy is that if someone is spamming via PMs then they lose the right to use the PM system. I'll take a close look at the copy you sent to me and see what's what.

Uh, no, I banned the guy didn't I? I'll have to go back and check but I thought that's what I had decided to do in this particular case.

Nope, didn't ban him but I had intended to suspend his PM access ... which I forgot to do but just did.

So no, I didn't think it was OK at all.
