You have to add it by hand.

It works for me, perhaps because of my incredible powers as moderator. :) You should tell Max about it, because I am not involved with the technical side. If you PM me what you want as your signature, I can try to set it for you and we can see if it works.

When you post, above the window you are typing in is a blue symbol that looks like a globe with a link.

Click on it and first type in what you would like people to see. Then click ok and it will prompt you for the URL. Enter that and you are done.

You have to do this each time. The function through your user cp has not worked in a long time.

Hi guys. GM pointed me here so I'm looking into this. Whatever it is it's a weird bug or quirk somewhere because this stuff is supposed to be available and working for you guys.

I'll dig into it now but no promises. I think it's a transient bug in the system somewhere and that makes it _very_ hard to track down. Bear with us ... but feel free to mention here, or in email/PM to me, if you find things are still hooped in a couple days.

It has just quit without warning in the past so if that happens again, fingers crossed that it won't, then feel free to PM me about it ASAP.

Oh, yes, one other thing, a small favour to ask of you all if I may. In the past we've had people abusing the sig feature by using it as a sneaky way to post great reams of spammy stuff or including personal insults in all their posts, etc. If you happen to see any of that sort of foolishness I'd appreciate hearing about it. It's easy enough to simply disable a person's right to use sigs.

What's a signature...I mean it is more that just adding your name at the end of a post...right?
I guess what I'm asking is convince me that I need one. LOL
