Is it possible to activate the ignore feature for the message board software?

That way if there's someone you'd rather not hear from, you can ignore their profile so that PMs are cut off, and any time they appear in a discussion you open, their post will just read:

"You are currently ignoring Member-X. Click Here to view post"

I know it is a feature available with vBulletin, but am not sure if it is something you see value in activating. If so, I would most definitely use it.

I guess that's a no-go on this one Max?

I'm using it here, have been for while.

Maybe you need to turn on cookies or something.

Yes, the ignore feature is active.

Find a post by the user you want to Ignore. Click on their name in the panel on the left of the post, just where their avatar would appear. Select "View Public Profile" from the pop-up box.

Once you're in the Profile look at the red bar with white text just under where their name and avatar appear. It should have three items "Download vCard", "Add ____ to Your Buddy List" and finally "Add _____ to Your Ignore List". Obviously that last item is what you're looking for.
