I was shocked to find I had 90 of those offfensive files on my hard drive. I thought I had completely removed Gator from my system----WRONG. I also knew I had removed most of the files from Spedia, but could not find the last of them. I had removed enough so that the program would not run, but it still tried to load on start up and was using system resources.

In just a few minutes all those files are now gone.

Glad you found the article useful. Worth noting that frequent updates of your adware scanner are a _really_ good idea. Gator and others make themselves as much a moving target as they can and the scanners are constantly updated in order to stay on top of the changes.
